This was probably the first lighted viewmaster viewer. It is actually a unit made to fit a standard (for the time) viewmaster viewer with a custom fitted clamp that attaches to the viewer. The attachment uses two "D" batteries and a standard flashlight bulb. The battery terminals inside are like new, with no corrosion whatsoever, and the bulb still works.

Before they made special lighted viewmaster viewers, you could adapt your regular old sun-powered version with this little unit. Made of plastic and metal.
